To Create a Location Using a Form

Select File > New > Location (Top Level).
The Location form opens in the Content pane.

Fill out the form. All fields are required.

Setting	Description
Location Code	A unique number or code that identifies the location. To manually configure the location code, you can either enter a fixed value (for example, `LOC-12345`), or you can enter a mask (for example, `LOC-#####`) and then click the Auto Number icon to generate the next available location code. For example, if you enter `LOC-#####` as the mask and the highest location code in the community is `LOC-00100`, the next available location code would be `LOC-00101`.
Name	A name for the location being created. This name may be used to locate the Location object or any object with this location used as a reference.
Class	The class for the location.

Click the Add icon in the action bar.
The location is created. You can now define additional relationships for the location. The information entered into the Location Name field displays in tab form at the top of the Content pane.
